2013 in Pictures: August

This month’s challenge was all about “collections of things”.

Like the last two months I’ve had a theme, it’s forced me to be a bit more creative in what I snap, rather than just life-caching. I’ve tried to mix it up and capture collections of things that are natural, man-made, old, new, everyday and unusual.

I’ve also been playing around with with the contrast and color of my photos (instead of just cheating and clicking “auto correct”). I think the photos this month are much more vivid as a result.
