About

Head-For-The-Hills started out as a travel blog in April 2012. I was living in Toronto at the time and was looking for a creative way to capture my experiences as an Aussie ex-pat and document a summer of backpacking through Canada.

Fast-forward to 2013 and I’m now living back in Australia. Determined not to let go of the backpacker spirit of freedom and adventure, even though I now live in the ‘real world’ of jobs and bills, I’ve decided to continue this blog.

Head-For-The-Hills is still essentially a travel-related blog (I still hope to be able to travel – and blog about it – when I can. The travel bug is always biting!)  But where I am right now, I’m more interested in writing about how to keep the travel mindset once the trip is over.  Why should we wish our days away between trips?

Thanks for taking a read!
